TEHRAN Tehran Armenians' Prelate Bishop Seboh Sarkisian in a message on Saturday congratulated the Iranian nation on the 22nd anniversary of the Islamic Revolution.

Sarkisian said the Revolution was just, its source was people and its objective was to ensure public prosperity in the religious, social, economic, scientific and cultural fields.

He lauded the exceptional'' leadership of the Founder of the Islamic Republic and Father of the Islamic Revolution the late Imam Khomeini and said the popular uprising in Iran was staged by people and emerged victorious in light of people's endeavors without intervention of military forces.

He said that Armenians are today more determined than before to contribute to the development of the country.
